Number of View: 36

There are many things that you can learn by simply watching the travel channel. Do you want to find out what you can do while vacationing? The travel channel can help. How about where you should plan your next trip? Again, if you watch the travel channel you should not have any problems learning about the world as a whole. A lot of people watch the travel channel because they simply want to find out about what they are missing out on elsewhere in the world.

So what is the point of watching the travel channel? There is really no reason as to why you should watch this channel. You will want to consider who you are as a person, and then ask yourself if there is anything that you can learn from the travel channel. Some people are simply addicted to traveling the world and the more that they can find out about travel destinations the happier they become. On the other side of things, if you work within the travel industry you may want to watch this channel in order to see what is going on. You never know when you will pick up a tidbit of information that can help you in your day to day work experiences.

There are many different programs that air on the travel channel. You can watch everything from shows that detail the best vacation destinations to how certain areas in the world have changed drastically over the years. When it comes down to it the travel channel offers many programs that suit the needs of millions of people.

Overall, if you have never watched the travel channel before you may want to think about doing so today. Many people rely on the written word when they want to learn about the travel industry or some of the destinations that are available for vacationing. Instead of doing this you should start to watch the travel channel on a regular basis. You may find out soon enough that you are addicted to the travel channel, and you are planning your schedule to ensure that you get your fill.

Number of View: 22

Traveling can be a lot of fun, but sometimes people are limited in their traveling options because of a budget. Here are some ways that you can save money when you traveling… which will let you bring home more gifts for your loved ones!

1.	Shop around. Different travel agencies may offer different promotions, so making a few phone calls may help uncover those hidden deals.

2.	Be willing to travel in the off-season. Hotels are expensive and overbooked during the busy season, but during the off-season you’ll find great deals on rooms and car rentals when you need them, and hospitality staff who are more relaxed and attentive to you.

3.	Travel in a group. Many hotels and airlines offer group discounts so if you and nine of your closest friends can arrange your schedules to travel at once, you will enjoy significant discounts.

4.	Be willing to travel at the last minute. If you have a job that allows you to drop everything for a vacation, you may be able to travel at a great rate if you enjoy flying by the seat of your pants. For example, if you contact a travel agent and an airline and asked them about last-minute deals a day or two before the weekend, you may be able to find an affordable travel package that is much less than you would pay if you had booked far in advance. This is because of cancellations. For some reason, other people have not been able to go on the vacation the book, so the hotel or airline or resort wants to fill those seats with another paying customer.

5.	Look for package deals. Often, companies in the travel and hospitality industry will partner together to offer great holiday packages. Look for these packages which make traveling much more affordable than simply putting together the pieces on your own. And much easier too!

Just because you’re on a budget doesn’t mean you have to stay home. Traveling is possible with a limited budget. With a little legwork and the willingness to be spontaneous, you’ll be able to find and enjoy affordable vacations.

Number of View: 20

With so many fantastic travel deals out there, why would you make a purchase without actively seeking out a bargain first? The online world, for example, affords endless offers on flights, accommodation and even activity-inclusive holiday packages – you just have to know where to look.

Many people refer directly to travel sites when trying to find special deals for flights or accommodation. However, it’s wise to keep in mind that valuable travel deals and packages can be found everywhere, including through companies which are not directly related to the travel industry. For instance, it’s not unusual for credit card companies to team up with airlines in providing their customers with “sky mileage”, discounted accommodation or even free flight tickets. After all, with an increasing number of people searching for and purchasing their flights online, it makes sense to use a credit card to finalise any purchases. And, with incentives to use a specific credit card to pay for travel products or services, the consumer, as well as participating credit card and travel companies, will benefit.

So what’s the best way to track such great deals? Take into account industries that might be related to the travel sector – even indirectly – like credit card companies. When you visit the website of the chosen company, make sure you click right through to their “special” or “current” offers; if there are any special travel deals to be had through the company, they’ll be listed in this section. And while many companies offer special travel incentives to drive business, clients who take advantage of the deals needn’t worry that they’ll end up paying more in the long run than they would if they had found travel arrangements on their own. For instance, your “sky mileage” or travel points might depend on the amount of money you spend with your credit card. But if you keep up with your credit card repayments, you’ll get to take advantage of the rewards without having to pay interest fees.

So whether you’ve been dreaming of exploring Thailand, relaxing in the Maldives or soaking up the splendours of Dubai, taking advantage of various money-saving travel deals ensures a comfortable yet cost-effective travel experience. It’s always possible to save money and travel the world in luxury – you just have to know where to find the best deals. And if you really keep your eyes open for great travel offers, you might even fly for free.

Number of View: 32

The best strategies for getting that next free airline ticket with the help of your airline rewards or frequent flyer travel reward credit cards boil down to seeking out all the incentives that have been created for specific airlines and their partners, including those provided by your airline rewards credit card issuer.
The quickest route to free travel is to fly as often as possible and charge the tickets on your airline rewards credit card since this can potentially generate tens of thousands of miles in a year. Leisure travelers can take advantage of everyday spending opportunities such as charging groceries, gasoline and setting up automatic recurring payments on their card to add up their miles.
The Immediate Action Plan
Enroll into United Mileage Plus Program – 15,000 – 20,000 Bonus Miles. Apply once a month, three month in the row – 45,000 – 60,000 miles for each adult member of the family -
http://www.cardoffers.com/manage/track/e.asp?ID=100156757

Use United Mileage Plus Card to purchase Charter One MasterCard Gift Cards – $1,500 per household per month. This transaction is a purchase and not a cash advance.
Purchase money order with this Gift Card and make mortgage, car or any other payments.
It takes 50,000 frequent flyer points to fly to Europe. You can earn them in less then 6 month and save up to $1500 per ticket.
Charter One MasterCard Gift Cards –

http://www.united.com/page/article/0,6722,1249,00.html
Frequent Flyer Basics
The frequent flyer program (FFP) is an incentive program operated by an airline to reward customers for their continued loyalty. As a traveler, you earn free miles for the miles that you fly on a particular airline. The concept behind frequent flyer programs is that the airlines want their passengers to become lifetime customers. It is much more costly for the airlines to get new customers than it is to retain the ones they already have. So how do they reward you? The more frequently you fly with them, the greater your awards.
Your frequent flyer miles reside in your account; much like your dollars in the bank. They accumulate as you travel, although unfortunately they don’t earn interest. At this time, most of the larger domestic airlines use a fairly uniform policy: mileage does not expire, but there must be some activity in your account once every three years. The airlines may change their mileage expiration policies, so you should read their most current guidelines. When the mileage total reaches a certain amount, you can “redeem” them for an award, usually air travel.
Managing Miles
If the ticket would cost less than $300, you’re probably better off buying it outright than using your miles. Frequent-flier miles typically expire after three years of inactivity.
Convert Miles
Points.com lets you take all your orphan miles or points from participating plans and consolidate them into one of your own choosing. Points.com allows 3,600 different exchanges for airline miles, hotel stays, free flowers, Starbucks coffee and gift certificates at Barneys New York, Crate & Barrel and 180 other retailers. Company charges $5.95 per individual transaction, or $19.95 for a year. The average exchange ratio at Points.com is just under 1.7-to-1, critics claim it is far more costly.
Convert miles to cash:
You can turn extra miles and points into cash via of mileage brokers. Just keep in mind airline rules prohibit such conversions.
Number of View: 20

Air southwest was incorporated on the March 15 of 1967 by Rollin King and Herb Kelleher and has received this recent name in the year 1971 with its headquarters located in Dallas, Texas.
Traveling is much easier and fun because of the facilities provided by Southwest airlines.

Southwest Airlines Special

2. It provides service with frequent flights through short routes.

3. Many of the cities across America get the benefit of the air service by southwest airlines that provide discounted frequent air flights.

4. It has an open seating arrangement where passengers are boarded with cards “A” first, followed by “B” and then the “C”.

5. There are facilities such as infants under the age of 2 are allowed to travel for free if they are on the adults lap. The fares for youth between the age of 12 and 22 and can be booked at the reservation centers. Children who are between the ages of 5 to 11 those who are not accompanied by their elders could travel after a form is being filled which is available both online and at the reservation center.

6. There are special senior citizen fares for those above the age of 65. These prices could vary from city to city and are easily refundable or exchangeable.

7. Refunds can be made online where you need to cancel the reservation or you can do so by calling the reservation number.

Discount Travel Airfare to Panama, Central America

Number of View: 24

Travel to Central America has always been very expensive from the US. However, the trade routes into Panama have consistently provided an opportunity for discount travel airfare to and from Panama. The amount of discount is often a function of the type of cargo and the actual form of air transport you are willing to accept.

Traveling as Cargo

Many of you may be surprised to learn that Panama may have more airfields available for light cargo planes than any single state in America. Practically every cocoa or marijuana field has its own private landing strip providing the capability to load fairly substantial amounts of cargo. In such cases, discount travel airfare from Panama might be necessary for the cargo owner. Thus, if you are not a very qualified liar, you might expect to spend some time in jail in the arrival city in the US. In such cases the discount travel airfare from Panama may in fact be more expensive than a regularly scheduled flight!

Discount travel airfare to Panama is much less adventurous. The simplest thing to look for is a two engine small passenger plane that is making frequent trips to Central America. Contact the pilot directly and negotiate your discount travel airfare to Panama. These guys think they are beneath the radar, and the fact that you know they are going to Panama for a reason that is not very popular with the DEA, can result in a very low discount travel airfare to Panama. However, one must understand that such discount travel may not be to the desired port or city, and further negotiation of the discount travel airfare to Panama is not possible once airborne.

Traveling as cargo in such a manner is not the safest or preferred way for those of us who wish to avail discount travel airfare to Panama.

Traveling Alone

For those traveling alone, here is a note of caution. When entering into the deal for discount travel airfare to or from Panama, please do it with at least one friend. Safety is in numbers and flying as a group in the manner suggested would result in far less trouble for you and your friends. You may even end up in a legitimate location in Panama and spend some quality time together. As with all vacations, time spent in planning your trip carefully usually pays off. Research the carrier, the airfields involved and the class of service provided.
